The script downloads the Analytics code again only if new changes are found. This way we can host the Analytics JavaScript code on our server without having to load it from Googles servers on every visit. If no changes have occurred then the Analytics code will load from the cached version on our CDN. When Google modifies its JavaScript code again our server will automatically download the new version and upload it to the CDN. We used this script for all external thirdparty scripts. Heres a screenshot from Pingdom Tools showing how everything loads from the CDN including the Analytics code.
